Rates differ greatly depending on your insurance provider and plan. Please contact your provider to find out if mental health services are covered, whether you are required to pay a co-pay or meet a deductible, and if there is a limit to how many sessions they will cover per year.
Responsive Counseling can be an out-of-network provider for other insurance carriers. Depending on your health insurance provider or employee benefit plan, it is possible for services to be covered in full or in part. I will provide the necessary form called a Superbill to file for reimbursement with your insurance carrier or health savings account (HSA), but I can not guarantee your insurance will reimburse you for sessions. It is important to call your insurance company first to find out if they cover telehealth counseling and out of network providers.
I accept all major credit and debit cards, checks and Health Savings Account (HSA) as forms of payment. All clients must provide a credit card that will be kept on file in a secure HIPAA compliant system. Payment is due at the time of the session.
If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please contact me at least 24 hours before your scheduled appointment. Otherwise, missed appointments will be charged a fee of $50. This is necessary because your appointment time gets reserved exclusively for you. If you’re late to your session, it may need to be rescheduled due to other time commitments.
